MetaDx was applied to metastatic cancer to identify the tissue of origin. OncoDx was applied to lung cancer to distinguish malignant tissue from non-tumor. OncoDx was applied to kidney cancer subtyping. Ovarian cancer was discerned from benign tumor or adjacent normal by the gene marker developed at Mao Ying Genetech Inc. OncoDx also functioned with magnetic beads.

OncoTeller® 核心演算概念:基因表達相原(GEP) 圖中每個網格代表一個基因,灰度代表基因的表達水平,綜合各網格的灰度便決定了左圖中“肺”的形態。 因此,一群基因的表達水平,可以定義細胞/組織的狀態。換句話說,藉由考慮基因表達的全局模式,(不是所選“差異表達基因”的倍數變化)可以描述組織或細胞的特定狀態。 我們發現GEP與細胞的正常狀態、癌症或特定組織類型之生理狀態高度相關 透過對不同組織類型的特定GEP建立模型 設計了用以識別轉移性癌症之起源組織、癌症進展的不同期別、甚至是正常組織處於不同分化時期的鑑別方法    茂英基因標記開發流程
